Secure solutions for critical IT environments
)
ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik GmbH will be showcasing selected solutions for use in data centres and critical infrastructure. The focus will be on solutions for burglary protection and networked escape route technology, as well as the wireless Aperio® components for access control.
Sensitive infrastructures such as data centers require well-thought-out security concepts that offer comprehensive physical protection and can be flexibly expanded or integrated into existing systems. This is more important today than ever before, as growing international tensions are leading to an increase in both analog and digital attacks on government and industrial facilities. In addition, facility managers are faced with a growing number of regulatory requirements. EU directives such as CER and NIS2, as well as specific standards such as EN 50600 and PCI-DSS, require far-reaching measures to ensure cyber-physical resilience. ASSA ABLOY supports facilities in this regard with coordinated technologies for all security zones, which, in addition to as many query contacts as possible, also enable real-time monitoring of door statuses in an integrated overall security system – from the outer perimeter to the server room in the core area.
High burglary protection with security locks up to class RC4
The various standards specify high resistance qualities and various monitoring requirements for individual protection zones in data centers. The combination of the new security locks from ASSA ABLOY with intrusion-resistant doors offers major advantages. The innovative locks have been awarded numerous test certificates and certifications that exceed the standard requirements and offer a wide range of monitoring options.
In addition, door systems with multi-point locks designed for RC4 can also be implemented with ASSA ABLOY security locks. Doors in this resistance class are able to withstand attempted break-ins using simple power tools such as cordless drills over a long period of time. This means that data center operators benefit from significantly improved burglary protection and high personal safety at RC4-protected doors.
Safe escape and controlled access
For personal protection in hazardous and emergency situations, ASSA ABLOY offers a wide range of systems and components for escape route security. The innovative ePED® technology is particularly impressive here, with a wide range of switch ranges and display terminals that comply with the current escape door standard EltVTR as well as the EU standard EN 13637.
In large building complexes, control panels offer clear added value thanks to their ability to centrally control escape doors. The new effeff 925 control panel with touch display allows security managers to conveniently view door statuses and intuitively control up to 24 escape doors or group functions. The 925 Touch can also be networked with other effeff escape route technology products via the TS bus interface and can be used as an upgrade in existing systems.
Seamless access control with Aperio® technology
One major advantage of EAC systems is that they monitor door statuses in real time. ASSA ABLOY's Aperio® technology enables comprehensive integration of various access points into SCALA net or an existing access control system. The components communicate flexibly – either online via radio or offline using Data on Card.
The versatile range consists of battery-operated cylinders, handles, escutcheons and complete locks. These components can be used to implement a comprehensive security concept that covers all zones – from the outer building shell to sensitive areas such as server rooms and individual server cabinets.
