Dr. Chantal Spleiss is an AI expert and full-time senior consultant specializing in compliance and cybersecurity for the pharma and med-tech industries. With a background spanning life sciences, technical domains, and industry, she bridges innovation and regulation with clarity and precision. Chantal brings a sharp strategic mindset and is known for translating complex topics into actionable outcomes. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the AI Governance & Compliance Workgroup at the Cloud Security Alliance and runs an agricultural business in Ontario, Canada. Her recent work spans three CSA white papers—including foundational pieces on AI risk management and dynamic processes for AI implementation—alongside speaking engagements, contributions and reviews of multiple white papers, and a range of thought-provoking blogs on AI governance, industry applications, and even thoroughbred breeding.
