Currently the Executive Director of Cloud at AllianzDirect, I am a hard working and passionate leader with an engineering and operations background. I have experience on transforming, scaling and managing large and distributed organizations operating in complex regulatory environments. I enjoy driving change within organizations at business, operational and engineering level. I focus on building up high performance and self-sufficient teams. I achieve this by a mix of using the diverse cultural values of specific geographies, growing internal talent and focused hiring of industry experts. Over the last 15 years I have built and led engineering teams in Financial Services and Insurance, Cloud Infrastructure and Startups. I also contributed to Global communities such as Linux Foundation and Cloud Native Computing Foundation, co-authored several Research Papers on AIOps and Decision Making and publicly spoke on different events such as Kubecon, Deloitte NextGen(AI) Cloud Transformation Summit and Cloud Native Days.
